We warmly welcome you to Hoeve Altena in Woudrichem and ask you to familiarize yourself with these general terms and conditions.

Head Guest
The person who made a reservation at Hoeve Altena via a contact form, booking agency, email, or telephone contact.
The main guest is 18 years of age or older, is responsible for their fellow guests, and must have a permanent residence.
Third parties
Any other legal entity that is not a guest, manager, or owner.
Administrator
Person who owns or manages Hoeve Altena on behalf of.
Cancellation
Revoking or terminating the final reservation within the applicable period.
Stay
The entire period between check-in and check-out.
1) The website www.hoeve-altena.nl has been compiled with great care and love, but there may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the actual situation at Hoeve Altena at the time of our guests' visit. Guests cannot derive any rights from such differences.
2) Hoeve Altena consists of 4 guest accommodations: Guesthouse, Barn, Apartment, and Cottage.
3) On the day of arrival, you can check in from 15:00. On the day of departure, you must check out before 11:00. Different times by arrangement.
4) Breakfast can be booked as an extra, no later than one day in advance.
5) Private areas may not be entered.
6) Between 22:00 and 08:00, the night and night rest of the surrounding residences must be respected.
7) Smoking is not allowed in the guest rooms.
8) Grilling, fondue, or stone grilling is not permitted in the guest accommodations. When cooking yourself, odor nuisance should be avoided as much as possible.
9) Drug use is not tolerated, and we will terminate your stay immediately.
10) Excessive alcohol consumption is not accepted and we will terminate your stay immediately.
Prices
1) Room rates include 21% VAT and exclude tourist tax and breakfast.
2) You must take out cancellation and/or travel insurance yourself.
3) All information on our website is deemed to have been provided in good faith and is always subject to interim adjustments.
4) Hoeve Altena is not bound by obvious errors on its website.
Reservation and payment
1) Reservations can be made via our booking program, by email, by telephone, via the contact form, or as a walk-in guest.
2) Once we have received your reservation request, we aim to contact you within 24 hours and confirm the reservation if there is availability.
3) Payment must be made before arrival, using one of the payment methods available on your personal booking page.
4) In the event of a cancellation within 3 days before the arrival date, the full amount will be charged.
Liability
1) Hoeve Altena cannot be held liable by its guests and any third parties as a result of the stay in our guest accommodations and any damage suffered.
2) Hoeve Altena is not liable for malfunctions in and around the guest accommodations, such as failure of Wi-Fi or power and/or water supplies and/or technical installations.
3) Hoeve Altena accepts no liability for loss, damage and/or theft of personal belongings or accidents during or as a result of the stay in the guest accommodations.
4) She must handle her property and accommodation in and around the guest quarters with care and in an orderly manner.
5) The guest accommodations, surrounding grounds, and parking areas must be left neat and clean.
6) Breakage or damage must be reported to the owner.
7) Should it subsequently transpire, after check-out, that goods are missing and/or damaged and this has not been reported to the owner, the repair and/or replacement costs will be charged to the main guest.
Finally
1) Unless otherwise provided in rules of international private law, these terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Non-Dutch speaking guests are deemed to have agreed to the general terms and conditions.
2) All disputes arising from the User Agreement or these Terms and Conditions shall be settled in the first instance by the competent court in the Netherlands, to the extent that the rules of international private law do not provide otherwise.
3) Neither party may transfer its rights and obligations to third parties, to the extent not provided otherwise in these terms and conditions.
4) If and to the extent that any provision in the User Agreement and these Terms and Conditions proves to be invalid, the remaining terms and conditions shall remain in force, and the invalid article shall be deemed to be converted in such a way that it is brought into conformity with the apparent intentions of the parties.
